Wedding
Up to 200 guests can celebrate in the Gothic Rupertigwölb from 1475: festively laid tables, set menu or buffet and, on request, a keg tapping to start.
Company party
Company party, anniversary or seminar with catering: cocktail reception, set menu or buffet, just 10 minutes by car from Salzburg.
Christmas party
Atmospheric in the historic vault or in the F.X. Gruber Stüberl, dedicated to Franz Xaver Gruber, composer of “Silent Night”.
Regulars & clubs
Cold-cuts boards, Bratl in da Rein or a spare-rib feast with freshly tapped Kaiser beer: in the Bürgerstube, the Jägerstüberl or the Bräustübl with Sudhaus Bar.

From hearty snacks to beer tasting menus
Whether set menu, buffet, beer tasting menu, seminar catering, snack buffet, cocktail reception or a traditional roast and ribs feast — depending on the occasion, the Bräustübl team spoils you with ideas ranging from traditional to inventive.
For a fitting opening, prove your talent at the barrel tapping: the 20-litre wooden barrel comes with glasses and an apron.
On request we prepare a buffet for your guests: from a snack buffet with cold-cuts boards and cold platters with ham, cheese and salads to hot dishes from our kitchen.

From an intimate parlor to a Gothic vault — choose the right setting for your group.
Rupertigwölb · ~ 200 seats
The Gothic vault of 1475, dedicated to the patron saint of Salzburg — a unique location for large events, concerts and weddings since its careful renovation in 1994.
Bräustübl with Sudhaus bar · ~ 80 seats
The rustic heart of the house with the brew kettles where beer is actually brewed on site — complemented since 2020 by the modern Sudhaus bar and the courtyard beer garden.
Bürgerstube · ~ 50 seats
The favorite meeting place of Hallein’s townsfolk since time immemorial — with a wide selection of beers and regional specialities from the Bräustübl kitchen.
Jägerstüberl · ~ 50 seats
With its rustic, traditional furnishings, the established meeting place for hunters and forest lovers.
Barmstoastüberl · ~ 30 seats
Dedicated to the Barmstein rocks. Small but exquisite: ideal for an exclusive celebration — secluded, yet in the middle of it all.
F.X. Gruberstüberl · ~ 40 seats
Dedicated to “Silent Night” composer Franz Xaver Gruber, who demonstrably enjoyed Kaltenhausen beer during his time in Hallein.

What occasions can we celebrate at the Bräustübl?
Regulars’ tables, club events, company parties, weddings, birthdays, Christmas parties and more — we prepare an individual offer for every occasion.
How does the barrel tapping work?
Prove your talent by tapping the 20-litre wooden barrel (210,– incl. glasses and apron) — the perfect start to a successful celebration. Advance reservation required.
When do I need to book in writing?
All reservations for 10 or more people can only be made in writing.
How do I find out about room rental conditions?

Do you offer buffets?
Yes. From a snack buffet with cold-cuts boards and cold buffets with cured meats, cheese and salads to hot dishes: we put together the buffet to suit your occasion and number of guests.
How many guests can you accommodate?
Our six rooms offer between about 30 and 200 seats. The Gothic Rupertigwölb holds up to 200 guests.
